On April 7th, a vulnerability named Heartbleed was disclosed that affected OpenSSL, a software library that is used by many websites to secure your communication.

While this is not a comprehensive list, it does give insight into the scope and size of this bug.
As a precautionary measure, it has been recommended that you change your passwords.
We want to take this opportunity to advise you of some password best practices:
- Use a unique password for each site or service
- Use a password that is greater than eight characters and difficult to guess
- Mix letters, numbers and symbols for the best combination
- Change your passwords regularly
