Speedtest.net by Ookla - My Results

Being fed up with @AT&T, I went to @Wal-Mart and grabbed a #straighttalk activation kit #sim.. Up and running in no time flat, unlimited talk, text, and data (although they do throttle you down to slower data after 3gb). It was an unbelievably easy transition, with #MMS and #4GLTE data working great. I had done this once before on a #Verizon #iPhone5 when I got fed up with them and their "#smartphone" tax that both they and AT&T charge. I was able to do it with the iPhone 5 it's with a verizon phone, however I was never able to get the MMS or 4G speed to work correctly, but my #Samsung #Galaxy #S5 is an AT&T #GSM phone and they even have an app for Android that walks you through helps you update the MMS #APN profile. I figure at $45 a month I will make up for breaking contract in 3 months, and with LTE speeds (see the attached report from Speedtest.net) it's a no brainer! Bear in mind that I'm at a location without full bars of service. One thing I do have to say is that Straight Talk customer service leaves much to be desired, so I don't recommend it for users who require significant technical assistance.
